The Woodlands, Texas – Calling all nuns, goat herders, baronesses and brown paper packages tied up with string (or any of your favorite things) – it’s time to channel your inner Maria and join The Pavilion for a Sound of Music Sing-A-Long, August 27, 2016 at 8:00 p.m.
At this unique and interactive show, guests will experience the movie on The Pavilion’s big screens, complete with animated lyrics displayed at the bottom. Tickets are $5 for lawn seating and covered seating is available for $10 and $15. Tickets are required for this event but, lawn chairs are complimentary.
Attendees are encouraged to come dressed up in their own versions of the Von Trapps or one of their favorite things! The best costumes may be chosen to go on stage for a costume contest during the pre-show entertainment emceed by Houston’s own favorite deejays from the Roula and Ryan show on 104.1 KRBE. Pack a picnic and make it a night of family fun!
Pre-concert activities begin at 6:30 p.m. in the North and South Plazas. Activities include The Pavilion Partners arts & crafts booth and Instrument Petting Zoo as well as activities by Mercedes Benz of The Woodlands, Visit South Walton, Woodforest National Bank, Renewel by Andersen and Century 21.
Preferred parking is available in the on-site Town Center Garage, located along Six Pines Drive. Parking is $10 per vehicle for this and most performing arts events. Tickets for on-site parking can be purchased in advance at all Ticketmaster locations and The Pavilion Box Office. Guests also may park in any of the five free parking lots on the southwest side of The Pavilion. The free, color-coded lots are connected to The Pavilion by corresponding pathways with signs leading across The Waterway.
