The Woodlands, Texas – The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is excited to welcome the talented dancers of Houston Ballet to the Main Stage for their Mixed Repertory program on Saturday, May 4. Tickets for the 8 p.m. performance are $20 for reserved orchestra seating. Mezzanine and lawn seating are free.
The evening, sponsored by The Wortham Foundation, will feature the premiere of Come In, a contemporary work for thirteen male dancers, as well as sample pieces from the company’s recent performances including dazzling excerpts from Raymonda, Oh there you are and The Ladies.
Pre-show entertainment in the North Plaza will be provided by Boni's Dance & Performing Arts Studio. The Pavilion is thrilled to welcome the group to the venue as it so closely aligns with its mission of providing performance opportunities for young artists in the community.
Other pre-show activities will begin at 7 p.m. in the North Plaza and include sponsor activations by Fidelity, Renewal by Andersen, Texas Children’s Hospital—The Woodlands, Tommy Bahama and Woodforest National Bank. Guests are invited to make their own ballet-themed craft at The Pavilion Partners arts & crafts booth and visit the Instrument Petting Zoo.
