THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – The Pavilion Partners, the official volunteer organization of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, will hold its 20^th Annual Wine Dinner and Auction Sunday, March 24 at 5 p.m. on The Pavilion’s Main Stage. This exclusive dinner funds scholarships for local students pursuing the fine arts in higher education. 

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is now ranked fourth in the top 100 amphitheaters in the world based on the number of tickets sold in 2018, according to Pollstar magazine, the concert industry’s leading trade publication. The Pavilion’s ticket sales have totaled 467,620 for concerts between November 23, 2017 and November 21, 2018.

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Join us in kicking off the holiday season at Holly Jolly Jingle Thursday, November 29 at 7:30 p.m. This festive event includes a musical celebration of the season by local students performers and fun winter activities for all ages. Tickets are not required for this free event. Gates open at 6 p.m.

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Last week, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion hosted two Fine Arts Education Day events with performances by the Houston Symphony for over 5,600 fourth and sixth graders from 37 schools across Conroe Independent School District and over 3,000 fifth graders from 25 schools across Spring ISD.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. performance, sponsored by Woodforest National Bank and H-E-B, are $20 for reserved orchestra seating. Mezzanine and lawn seating are free. Gates open at 6 p.m.

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is transforming into a giant playground for the 23rd Annual Children’s Festival presented by ExxonMobil and the whole neighborhood is invited! Tickets are on sale now for this year’s festival which will take place on Saturday, November 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 11 from noon to 5 p.m.

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – On Tuesday, September 4, the Houston Symphony will present Rebels, Raiders and Superman: A Tribute to John Williams on The Pavilion Main Stage. Tickets for the 8 p.m. performance, sponsored by Insperity and Fidelity, are $20 for reserved orchestra seating. Mezzanine and lawn seating are free. Gates open at 7 p.m.

The Houston Symphony will return to The Pavilion Main Stage on Monday, July 16 for an evening honoring Bowie’s life and featuring a variety of his classic hits! THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – All are invited to “Hop on the Bandwagon” to support performing arts and education at The Pavilion Partners Pre-Concert Fundraiser Friday, August 10 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The event will take place in The Pavilion Event Center prior to the Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town concert.  

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Kick off America’s birthday celebration at Star-Spangled Salute as the Houston Symphony takes the Main Stage, Tuesday, July 3 at 8 p.m.  This free Independence Eve spectacular, which has been a tradition at The Pavilion for 28 years, features the Houston Symphony in a selection of patriotic favorites, presented by The Howard Hughes Corporation. Tickets are not required for this event. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Since 1990, each summer, young professional musicians descend upon the University of Houston campus for a four-week intensive orchestral fellowship program. Each musician accepted into the program receives a fellowship that offers a dynamic opportunity to learn from distinguished artists from the Moores and Shepherd schools of music faculty as well as members of the Houston Symphony. The program culminates at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion where the Texas Music Festival Orchestra will take the Main Stage for a free concert Friday, June 22 at 8 p.m. under Guest Conductor Carlos Spierer. Tickets are not required for free seating.

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – The Woodlands ChamberFest recently returned to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for a seventh year of lessons from notable Julliard alumni. Over thirty-five students attended the week-long chamber music program for students in grades 7 through 12 who play violin, viola, cello and bass. As one of The Pavilion’s educational outreach programs, the summer music camp is dedicated to teaching communication, collaboration and leadership through chamber music.

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – On Wednesday, June 13, you can catch a screening of Steven Spielberg's Jaws at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The Houston Symphony will perform the movie's suspenseful score live, as the action unfolds on the venue’s giant screens. Tickets for the 8 p.m. performance are $20 for reserved orchestra seating. Mezzanine and lawn seating are free. Gates open at 7 p.m. 

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Featuring the period of American history when cowboy hats and boots were the attire, and courageous adventure was the settlement and taming of the Wild West, the Houston Symphony will take the Main Stage for Wild Wild West on Thursday, June 7. Tickets for the 8 p.m. performance are $20 for reserved orchestra seating. Mezzanine and lawn seating are free. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. 

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Celebrate the end of school and start of summer with a concert and movie! On Thursday, May 31, journey over the rainbow and down the yellow brick road with the Houston Symphony at The Wizard of Oz—Film with Live Orchestra, sponsored by Huntsman.Tickets for the 8 p.m. performance are $20 for reserved orchestra seating. Mezzanine and lawn seating are free. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Due to the popularity of this show, attendees utilizing free seating are encouraged to arrive early to ensure entry.

The Woodlands, Texas –  Nearly 5,000 students and teachers attended the annual Musical Scores event at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Thirty-two schools from thirteen school districts attended the free event which has grown to become one of The Pavilion’s most successful educational outreach programs.
