Scholarships Take Center Stage as The Pavilion Supports Local Student Artists & Musicians
THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS –
A central part of The Pavilion’s mission is supporting young artists in their pursuit of college degrees in the arts. This valuable opportunity is made possible through The Pavilion Partners Fine Arts Scholarship Program, which awards scholarships annually to local high school seniors based on their artistic talent and academic achievement.
This year, The Pavilion Partners Fine Arts Scholarship Program awarded nearly $150,000 in new scholarship funds to 29 recipients from 16 different high schools across nine different school districts.
45 renewal scholarships were also awarded to recent scholarship recipients who are majoring in the Fine Arts and in a field of study consistent with the discipline in which they initially auditioned. Since its inception, the program has awarded more than $2.8 million in fine arts scholarships.
On Monday, April 28, The Pavilion treated the 2025 scholarship recipients and their families to a special celebration on the Main Stage. Along with recognition and refreshments, scholars got the chance to meet each other and several of the donors that made their scholarships possible.

The Scholarship Committee Chair, Stephanie Teed explains that “There are so few scholarships available just for students who want to study fine arts after high school, as such, this program is tremendously beneficial to fine arts students as it helps fill that gap… Our program helps identify and reward talented fine arts students who are serious about pursuing a fine arts education with many of our past recipients becoming proven successful artists and arts educators across the country.”
