The Woodlands, Texas – The Center for the Performing Arts at The Woodlands, home of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, has named Scott Shaver the new social media and digital marketing coordinator. In this position, Shaver will be responsible for creating a market presence through social media and other digital marketing outlets.
Previously, Shaver served as a ninth-grade English teacher at YES Prep Public Charter Schools and before that he authored and published weekly blog posts on the official Mays Business School website at Texas A&M University to educate prospective students and donors. Scott has also served in various digital communications roles at other nonprofits across the state.
“We are excited to welcome Scott to the team,” said Jerry MacDonald, president and CEO of The Pavilion. “His skills and experience will be a great addition to The Pavilion and will surely contribute to the organization’s growth and success.”
Shaver received a bachelor's degree in both business honors and marketing from Texas A&M University. Scott currently resides in The Woodlands with his wife and is an avid hiker during his spare time.
