Artists in Schools Grants
Where artists meet classrooms, creativity comes alive.
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion’s Artists in Schools Grant empowers local arts organizations to bring high-quality, artist-led residencies, performances and programs directly into classrooms across the Greater Houston area.
Open to nonprofit arts organizations based in Harris and Montgomery counties, this program supports meaningful arts engagement for Pre-K through 6th grade students in public and TEA-approved charter schools throughout a 12-county Houston metro area. By investing in creative partnerships with artists, the program helps fill gaps in school arts programming, strengthens the capacity of local arts organizations and provides students with enriching experiences that build artistic skills, spark creativity and inspire lifelong learning.
The application for the Artists in Schools Grant will open on April 1st, 2027. If you'd like to receive a notification when the form re-opens, please use the form below to share your information.
