What if…you could bring all of your family and friends together under one powerful banner?

Do you know what makes Independence Day wonderful? It's the way we gather together - with family, friends, or your own special mix of both. It’s American tradition to find our way back to each other to celebrate, delight and stop for a few moments to be thankful for the people around us. The goal of Star-Spangled Salute is to give you a chance for time together – time to remember, time to rejoice, and time to stand in awe of a few brilliantly patriotic moments.

Pre-concert activities begin at 6:30 p.m. in the North and South Plazas and will feature free patriotic souvenirs, photo opportunities with characters, a special art project, The Pavilion Partners Instrument Petting Zoo and sponsor activations. Pre-show entertainment in front of the Main Stage will be provided by The Woodlands Show Chorus and will begin at 7 p.m. The group is an award winning, women's auditioned a cappella chorus, comprised of nearly 80 singers, and chapter of nonprofit Sweet Adelines International.
