
Arts in Action Awards
The mission of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion’s Arts in Action award program is to recognize, reward and encourage talent and achievement in the performing and visual arts among students around the greater Houston area.
WHO:
The Arts in Action awards program honors 5 - 8th grade performing and visual arts students nominated by their music teacher/director, not only for their excellence as artists, but for the dedication, leadership and commitment to their entire school community.
WHAT:
Award recipients will receive a certificate and small prize from The Pavilion, be featured on The Pavilion’s website, and be invited to an Arts in Action Awards Reception at The Pavilion. Recipients are limited.
WHEN:
Online submissions open April 8, 2026 and close April 24, 2026. Winners will be notified by May 8, 2026. You may nominate more than one student by submitting multiple forms.
