THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Celebrate the music of rock legend David Bowie in this exhilarating musical tribute sponsored by Huntsman! The Houston Symphony will return to The Pavilion Main Stage on Monday, July 16 for an evening honoring Bowie’s life and featuring a variety of his classic hits! Tickets for the 8 p.m. performance are $20 for reserved orchestra seating. Mezzanine and lawn seating are free. Gates open at 7 p.m.
THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – All are invited to “Hop on the Bandwagon” to support performing arts and education at The Pavilion Partners Pre-Concert Fundraiser Friday, August 10 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The event will take place in The Pavilion Event Center prior to the Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town concert.
THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Kick off America’s birthday celebration at Star-Spangled Salute as the Houston Symphony takes the Main Stage, Tuesday, July 3 at 8 p.m. This free Independence Eve spectacular, which has been a tradition at The Pavilion for 28 years, features the Houston Symphony in a selection of patriotic favorites, presented by The Howard Hughes Corporation. Tickets are not required for this event. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Since 1990, each summer, young professional musicians descend upon the University of Houston campus for a four-week intensive orchestral fellowship program. Each musician accepted into the program receives a fellowship that offers a dynamic opportunity to learn from distinguished artists from the Moores and Shepherd schools of music faculty as well as members of the Houston Symphony. The program culminates at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion where the Texas Music Festival Orchestra will take the Main Stage for a free concert Friday, June 22 at 8 p.m. under Guest Conductor Carlos Spierer. Tickets are not required for free seating.
THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – The Woodlands ChamberFest recently returned to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for a seventh year of lessons from notable Julliard alumni. Over thirty-five students attended the week-long chamber music program for students in grades 7 through 12 who play violin, viola, cello and bass. As one of The Pavilion’s educational outreach programs, the summer music camp is dedicated to teaching communication, collaboration and leadership through chamber music.

The Woodlands, Texas – Nearly 5,000 students and teachers attended the annual Musical Scores event at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Thirty-two schools from thirteen school districts attended the free event which has grown to become one of The Pavilion’s most successful educational outreach programs.

Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band has postponed their Thursday, October 19 performance at The Pavilion. Bob Seger announced today that he will have to postpone upcoming tour dates upon receiving his doctor’s orders to attend to an urgent medical issue concerning his vertebrae. No further details are available at this time. Rescheduled dates will be announced when available. Tickets sold for concerts that are being rescheduled will be honored at the new dates.
