Bring your family and friends to this "spooktacular" Halloween event. Hocus Pocus Pops is a night of tricks, treats and enchanting music as the Houston Symphony casts a magical spell on The Pavilion. Daddies, mummies and all the little ghosts and goblins are invited to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes. An imaginative blend of chilling music and spirited fun is sure to spook you into the season.
Come in a costume for a chance to march in the Goblin Parade. The first 100 children in costume to check in at Hocus Pocus Central in the North Plaza get to march on stage in the Goblin Parade.
Pre-concert activities featuring Radio Disney Party Patrol, spooktacular costumed characters, Halloween activities and grab bags, meet H-E-Buddy and pumpkin decorating and more with H-E-B begin at 6 p.m. in the North Plaza sponsored by Fidelity Investments and Market Street-The Woodlands.
Also, bring any H-E-B receipt from October 2010 and register to win free prizes from H-E-B! Receipts must be brought to Hocus Pocus Central in The Pavilion's North Plaza prior to the performance (between 6 and 7:15 p.m.) on Oct. 21. The drawing will take place on the Main Stage before the concert.
The Houston Symphony performs Theme from "Ghostbusters," Suite from "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," Suite from "The Sleeping Beauty," March from "Raiders of the Lost Ark," and more!
Bring a picnic (no beverages).
All shows, especially opening acts, are tentative and subject to change without notice.
