The Pavilion Partners, the official volunteer organization of The Center for the Performing Arts at The Woodlands, home of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, awards fine arts scholarships each year to graduating high school seniors planning to major in the Fine Arts and renewal scholarships to past recipients studying Fine Arts in college.
These exceptional students were awarded their scholarships based on talent and academic performance. Scholarships were given to students in the following categories: vocal and instrumental music, theatre arts, dance and visual arts.
The application deadline for the 2011 Pavilion Partners Scholarship Program is Feb. 1, 2011. Click here for the application.
Fine Arts Scholarships, awarded to students based on talent and academic performance, are available to students in Conroe ISD, Spring ISD, Klein ISD, Magnolia ISD, Montgomery ISD, Tomball ISD, Willis ISD, MacArthur and Carver High Schools in Aldine ISD and private schools within each district's boundaries. Applicants must intend to major in Fine Arts, may apply in only one talent area and must be a U.S. citizen or eligible resident.
The $1,000 Renewal Scholarships are also available for past recipients. Applications are evaluated on current academic achievement, letters of recommendation and a personal letter or essay.
