The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is looking for volunteers to assist with the second annual event set for April 14 and 15, 2007. The festival needs approximately 750 volunteers over the weekend to assist in areas such as guest relations, artist relations, children’s art activities, the student art area, ticketing, the performing arts stages and more. Volunteers are asked to work a four-hour shift and receive free admission to the festival and a festival t-shirt featuring artwork created by Barbara Franklet, the festival's featured artist.
A volunteer registration form can be found at www.woodlandsartsfestival.com, then click the link for “Volunteers.” This form can be completed and submitted online or sent via fax to 281-364-3011.
The two-day Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival features more than 200 national and regional artists of various mediums selling their original creations. Festival hours are 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults. Children 12 and under are admitted free of charge.
