According to the July 24, 2006, edition of Pollstar magazine, the concert industry’s leading trade publication, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion ranked second in its listing of top 50 amphitheatres in the world based on the number of tickets sold during the first six months of 2006. The Pavilion’s ticket sales totaled 138,586 for shows played between Jan. 1 and June 30, 2006, behind the number one amphitheater, Tweeter Center At The Waterfront in Camden, NJ, which sold 196,813 tickets.

So far this season, The Pavilion has had three sold out concerts (15,000+), including Kenny Chesney April 22, Buzzfest XVII June 17 and Rascal Flatts June 18.
