Jeff Young, vice president of operations for The Center for the Performing Arts at The Woodlands, home of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, has named JD Villaseñor as the new director of sales, sponsorships and premium seats for the organization. Villaseñor, who has been the director of premium seat sales for The Center for two years, will continue his role of selling and managing the season seat program and now be responsible for securing sponsors for the Live Nation events at The Pavilion.
"JD is very dedicated to The Pavilion and has demonstrated the ability, desire and passion to lead the sales of Live Nation sponsorships for this facility and continue his management of premium seat sales," Young said. "He brings a unique set of skills and has the experience necessary for continued growth in these areas at The Pavilion."
Villaseñor assumes the position with eight years of experience in sales and customer service. He has worked in MLB with the Detroit Tigers, the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks and the NHL with the Atlanta Thrashers.
Villaseñor resides in The Woodlands with his wife, Rhonda, and two sons, Dominic (3) and Christian (4 months).
Live Nation is the world's largest live music company and the largest promoter of live concerts in the world. The Pavilion has had a partnership with Live Nation since 1990.
