In July, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion launched its new website and simultaneously launched an interactive contest, “Launch It, Click It & Win It,” where participants searched for answers to questions about The Pavilion on the new site. Winners received free tickets to Pavilion concerts, performing arts events and more!
The “Launch It, Click It & Win It” contest was created to encourage individuals to familiarize themselves with the new site and learn a few things about The Pavilion they didn’t already know.
Ann Sever was the Grand Prize winner for the contest because she was the first person to answer all 10 questions correctly. She received two lawn tickets to the Dave Matthews Band concert Sept. 10 along with two Woodforest Bank VIP Club passes for the show and dinner for two at Tommy Bahama. The contest ran through July 30 when three additional winners were drawn from all of the correct entries. Cindy Chapa, Nicole Lekas and Amanda Brash were the first, second and third place winners respectively and each received tickets to upcoming concerts and performing arts events at The Pavilion.
“Wow! I was very excited to learn I was the Grand Prize winner of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion’s website contest. My family and I love coming to concerts at The Pavilion and this is a special treat,” said Sever. “I am also enjoying The Pavilion’s new website. It is easy to use and visitors can find information about concerts right at their fingertips on the homepage calendar.”
The Pavilion’s new website was designed to showcase the different types of events that take place at The Pavilion, such as contemporary concerts, performing arts events and educational outreach programs. Some of its new features include audio, videos, a media photo gallery and large Flickr gallery, different calendar formats, sharing options and links to The Pavilion’s social networking sites. Site navigation also was improved to help visitors find information more efficiently.
The new website was designed by BubbleUp, Ltd, an internet-based digital media company. Led by highly experienced corporate, internet and entertainment professionals, the Woodlands-based company combines artistic ability with years of experience.
