House of Blues and Live Nation are pleased to announce the grand opening of the brand new “House of Blues Hospitality Tent” at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The 60’ X 100’ tent is open for business starting June 11, 2010, at the Iron Maiden concert. The House of Blues Hospitality Tent will be open for most Live Nation concerts this season.

“We are extremely excited about the opening of the House of Blues Hospitality Tent at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The Pavilion is the only amphitheatre in the United States to have a House of Blues on site,” said Jerry MacDonald, president and CEO of The Pavilion. “This will be a one-of-a-kind entertainment area offering fans a unique experience at The Pavilion.”

The House of Blues Hospitality Tent is open to all concertgoers. Guests simply use their concert ticket to enter. It is the only public place in the venue where a full-service bar is available. Additionally, the House of Blues Hospitality Tent has private restrooms and a live video feed of the concert. Doors to the House of Blues Hospitality Tent open one hour before gates open for the concert, and close approximately one hour after the concert ends. The House of Blues Hospitality Tent is located in The Pavilion’s North Plaza across from the Woodforest Bank Club.

The House of Blues Hospitality Tent also features a special members-only section, the Foundation Room. The House of Blues Foundation Room nationwide is a private club for professional and personal entertaining. Every Foundation Room is a unique and beautiful space decorated with art and artifacts from around the world. Members of the Foundation Room need to present their membership card to gain access to this special section of the House of Blues Hospitality Tent.
