Houston Ballet’s “Madame Butterfly” scheduled for Friday, May 3 has been cancelled due to anticipated inclement weather and low temperatures. The Ballet’s management decided 30 to postpone the performance for the safety of the performers.
“We are disappointed by the cancelled ballet performance of ‘Madame Butterfly’ due to unexpected weather conditions on Friday evening,” said Jerry MacDonald, president and CEO of The Pavilion. “We look forward to bringing back Houston Ballet for our 25th Season in 2014.”
Tickets for the May 3 performance of “Madame Butterfly” will be refunded. Refunds must be made at the point of purchase. Refunds will be automatically credited to the credit card of those who purchased tickets though www.ticketmaster.com or by phone through Ticketmaster. Individuals who purchased tickets through The Pavilion Box Office must be made in person. The Pavilion Box Office is open Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Refunds must be made by June 28, 2013.
As a special offer, refund customers have the opportunity to receive a reserved seat ticket to “Madame Butterfly” at Miller Outdoor Theatre May 11 or 12. Customers must exchange their Pavilion ticket at the Box Office to receive a ticket to the performance on May 11 or 12 at Miller Outdoor Theatre. The ticket exchange must be made by May 8.
