The Woodlands, Texas – The House of Blues Hospitality Tent at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion rocked the house for its grand opening June 11-13. The brand new House of Blues Hospitality Tent welcomed nearly 3,500 guests at the Iron Maiden concert June 11 and Lynyrd Skynyrd concert June 13
“The House of Blues Hospitality Tent opened with great success this weekend and performed better than excepted with more than 3,500 concertgoers visiting the new venue,” said Jerry MacDonald, president and CEO of The Pavilion. “This gives our fans a one-of-a-kind experience they can’t get anywhere else since The Pavilion is the only amphitheatre in the world to have a House of Blues on site.”
The House of Blues Hospitality Tent offers concertgoers a full-service bar (the only public place in the venue where a full-service bar is available), air conditioning, private restrooms, limited appetizer menu and a live video feed of the concert. The House of Blues Hospitality Tent, open for most Live Nation concerts, is free to all concertgoers. Guests simply use their concert ticket to enter. Doors open one hour before gates open for the concert and close approximately one hour after the concert ends.
The House of Blues Hospitality Tent is located in The Pavilion’s North Plaza across from the Woodforest Bank Club.
The House of Blues Hospitality Tent features painted canvas drapes along the walls and magnificent artwork from around the world. The House of Blues Hospitality Tent was designed by Scott Smith, art director for House of Blues. Smith also designed all of the 13 House of Blues venues.
“We hope to see more fans visiting the House of Blues Hospitality Tent throughout our season,” said MacDonald. “Its unique features such as a full-service bar, live video feed of the concert, private restrooms and air conditioning make it a great enhancement for our guests’ concert experience.”
The House of Blues Hospitality Tent also features a special members-only section, the Foundation Room. The House of Blues Foundation Room nationwide is a private club for professional and personal entertaining. Every Foundation Room is a unique and beautiful space decorated with art and artifacts from around the world. Members of the Foundation Room need to present their membership card to gain access to this special section of the House of Blues Hospitality Tent.
