The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion strives to make every effort to create an enjoyable experience for all guests. Guests requiring medical attention while visiting our facility may find the following information helpful.
If you require medical assistance during your visit please ask a staff member to escort you to the First Aid office.
Dehydration & Heat Exhaustion:
With exposure to the summer elements at many Pavilion shows, it is important to hydrate and be mindful of the potential for dehydration and heat exhaustion. If you notice the any of the following symptoms in yourself or someone around you please visit First Aid immediately.
Dehydration & Heat Exhaustion Symptoms:
- Dark-colored or no urine
- Muscle or abdominal cramps
- Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
- Pale skin
- Profuse sweating
- Rapid heartbeat
- Increased thirst
- Dry mouth and swollen tongue
- Inability to sweat
If you or someone near you is injured please find the nearest staff member to assist you. Never move or touch someone that is injured. Please allow Pavilion staff to alert First Aid and assist the situation.
Guests requiring certain medications will need to check them in with First Aid during their visit to The Pavilion. All liquid medications, medications administered with a needle and syringe, and any narcotic or controlled substance medication must be stored in the First Aid office. When entering The Pavilion with such types of medication, please make sure your legal name is listed on the prescription label and it matches your photo ID. Tell a gate supervisor that you have medication to check in at First Aid and a medic will be called to assist you.
Nursing mothers are welcome at The Pavilion. If mothers wish to gain extra privacy, they may utilize The Pavilion’s First Aid office as a private and secure place to nurse, pump and store breast milk during their visit. If you intend to bring a breast pump and/ or store breast milk please notify a gate supervisor that you need an escort by a medical staff member.
If you or someone in your party requires the use of a wheelchair to get to their seat, please notify a Pavilion staff member. First Aid is equipped with wheelchairs to help escort people to their seats if needed. Please note wheelchairs cannot be rented or loaned to guests for the length of their stay.
