We are looking for responsible, outgoing, energetic people to fill the following positions:

Assistant Box Office Manager

Assistant Box Office Manager provides support to the overall operation of the Box Office and all aspects of season and box tickets. This position reports to the Box Office Manager.


  • Supervise all part-time Box Office Attendants including setting schedules.
  • Perform ticket-selling functions when needed.
  • Assist the Box Office Manager with all aspects of FanTM and TM Scanner maintenance.
  • Prepare reports and documentation, as needed.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently both in writing and orally to a varied group of individuals including season ticket and box seat holders, customers and VIP guests.
  • Fulfill house seat ticketing requests for CWMP board members, donors, sponsors and VIP guests.
  • Print and coordinate all season ticket mail-outs.
  • Communicate with ticket company (Ticketmaster) regularly and keep them properly informed about events and subscription series.
  • Accept series and subscription ticket orders by phone and perform all related processing and accounting.
  • Write and edit autypes for selling and renewing classical season tickets and write documentation.
  • Process payments for credit donations, volunteer memberships, insurance tulips and house orders.
  • Prepare daily cash reconciliation.
  • Maintain a spreadsheet detailing all House Orders and PSS upcharges.
  • Assist in managing the Box Office during events.

Performs related work as assigned.  Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.


  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, recognize problems and find solutions.
  • Ability to handle large sums of money utilizing prescribed cash management controls.
  • Ability to handle a variety of day-to-day tasks concurrently.
  • Available to work long hours including nights, weekends and holidays.


  • Minimum of two years selling and reporting on a computer ticket system, preferably Ticketmaster.
  • Minimum of two years experience in working with the public and large sums of money.
  • Combination of education and experience will be evaluated.

Human Resources Manager

Oversees all aspects of Human Resources; including, but not limited to, payroll, benefits, and workers compensation.  Reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Process semi-monthly payroll; includes weekly edits such as direct deposits, time clock errors and all personnel changes. Create payroll report for department heads to approve prior to processing. Transfer payroll funds online into the payroll account.
  • Manage the implementation of processing all new hires.  Process includes the hiring of over 250 event staff per year which entails running background checks on all candidates, verifying I9 information, taking photo for credentials, printing out staff badge, entering all employee data into ADP payroll software, transferring information in the time clock.
  • Post all job openings and assist with the recruiting process.  Phone interviews, schedule interviews for Department Heads and following up with checking references on potential candidates.
  • Oversee and maintain over 500 employee files for all active staff.  
  • Stay on top of all payroll and labor laws, including the new Health Care Reform.
  • Process employee benefits and communicates benefit information to all full time staff; including health, dental, flexible spending, 403b, short term and long term disability and life insurance.  
  • Oversee all company handbook policies and ensures that staff is in compliance; also creates new policies when needed .
  • Assist with any employee investigations, complaints and disciplinary action to ensure that the appropriate documentation is submitted.  Advise Management prior to terminating or disciplining staff.
  • Maintain badge credentials for all staff, volunteers, vendors and board members.  
  • Manage the front desk Receptionist position; including setting lunch relief schedule for full time staff to cover daily.  Oversee and approve any work that is issued to them by staff.  
  • Manage and report all workers compensation claims.  Follow up with vendor to ensure that we have all documentation that is needed and forward all work release information.
  • Responsible for paycheck distribution, mailing and auditing.  Point of contact person if there is any issue with their pay.
  • Create and/or manage reports; such as, Payroll Balance, 941’s, Quarterly Wage, and Taxes, OSHA, TWC and Payroll Register.
  • Respond to all unemployment claims and follow-up with any discrepancies.  Spearhead any phone hearings to decrease The Pavilions liability, including providing all statements and documentation for any and all claims against the company.
  • Set schedules in time clock for over ten event departments and the Receptionist for each event.  Set up labor coding to ensure the payroll is allocated to the correct event for each show, rental or private event.
  • Respond to all verification of employments via fax.
  • Report unclaimed property yearly to the Texas State Comptroller.
  • Works designated events to audit areas such as concessions, lawn chairs, parking and merchandise.  Observe event staff to ensure they are complying with all policies and procedures.  Converse with event staff to inquire if they have any suggestions as to what we might be able to improve on.
  • Audit the box office on a monthly basis.  This includes counting all of the tellers cash bags and any other cash in the vault and balancing it to the allocated amount the box office should have on hand.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Skills & Abilities

  • Working knowledge of Paycom Payroll System.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Dependable and punctual.

Education & Experience

  • College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years human resources and/or payroll experience.
