Chamberfest is a week-long chamber music camp for students in grades 7 through 12 who play violin, viola, cello and bass.
Chamberfest was started by a Pavilion Partners Fine Arts Scholarship recipient, Marie Daniels, in 2013 and was adopted as one of The Pavilion’s educational outreach programs. Chamberfest entails four days of rehearsals and coaching and one 45-minute individual lesson for each student. At the week’s end there is a Festival Finale student performance. Students also have daily workshops on topics such as public speaking, improvisation, music history and communication through music.
