The Center for the Performing Arts at The Woodlands, dba The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, has been entertaining and impacting the community since 1990.
Operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The Pavilion's mission is to make the performing arts accessible to everyone. While most people recognize The Pavilion as a contemporary music venue, proceeds from these contemporary shows help offset the costs incurred to produce The Pavilion's classical concerts and educational outreach programs. Donations from local corporations, foundations and individuals allow The Pavilion to continue its mission of enhancing the education of our youth and spreading the power and beauty of the performing arts to every corner of our community.
By opening children's eyes to the arts through our outreach programs and bringing families together during our performing arts series, we are building a stronger community while inspiring and enriching the lives of people every year.
Please take a moment and learn about the ways you can help to support and preserve the performing arts and arts education in your community.
Sponsorship of The Pavilion’s performing arts events provides unique opportunities for marketing, client cultivation and executive networking, as well as offering valuable employee benefits and community goodwill. The Pavilion’s staff will work directly with you to create a memorable and exciting experience tailored to your corporation’s needs.
In addition to underwriting a performing arts event, companies can capitalize on opportunities to become involved in rewarding educational outreach programs. These programs reach Greater Houston Area schoolchildren, as well as a broad cross-section of people of all ages, ethnic backgrounds and economic levels. Depending on the amount of your donation, your corporation may qualify to receive donor benefits.
Giving an individual donation to The Pavilion is one of the simplest ways to support the arts in your area. When giving to The Pavilion you are allowing a child to hear a symphony for the first time, or giving a group of underprivileged students an educational opportunity. Most of all, you are encouraging the artist in all of us to keep the beauty of art alive in our local community.
With your donation, The Pavilion can continue bringing families together in a safe, friendly environment while building a stronger community that will inspire and enrich the lives of people every year.
Your donation HELPS The Pavilion bring the power and beauty of live performing arts to our community!
