Welcome New Partners Volunteers – A big HELLO to our new members.  Partners is thrilled to have you join our wonderful group of volunteers.  It was great to meet each of you at orientation.  Special thanks goes to Vicki Huebler and her PALS for getting our new volunteers off to a great start!

Returning Event Volunteers – Welcome back returning event volunteers.  There was a great turnout for the orientation and sign ups for Easter, The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, the symphony tribute to Cynthia Woods Mitchell, and Buzzfest.  The 2010 season is off to a great start.  Partners, who have completed orientation, may pick up their 2010 badges during The Pavilion’s business hours, Monday-Friday between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.    

Save the Date – Mark you calendars for Friday, June 4th.  All Partners  are invited to attend a dinner and social honoring our new members.  It will begin at 6:30 p.m. in The Woodforest Bank Club here at The Pavilion.  This always is a great party.  Watch for an evite with additional information. 

Fine Arts Education Day - Volunteers are needed for Fine Arts Education Day on Tuesday, May 18th at The Pavilion when fourth and sixth grade students from Conroe ISD will visit The Pavilion for a Houston symphony performance.  Partners will welcome students off their buses and direct them to their seats.  The event begins at 10:30 a.m. and is over at noon.  Please arrive at 8:00 a.m. for orientation with breakfast in the Woodforest Bank Club and plan to remain until 12:30 p.m.  Parking is in the Gold Lot parking garage located off Six Pines.  Event and performing arts volunteers are to sign up online at

Swing for the Arts -   The Pavilion Partners 6th Annual Swing for the Arts Golf Tournament is scheduled for June 7, 2010 at The Woodlands Country Club Palmer Course.  Volunteers are needed to help the day of the tournament.  To volunteer or request more information, please contact Keith Ferry at   Proceeds from the tournament benefit The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion’s performing arts events and educational outreach programs. 

Events Worked – This season Charlotte Weschler will send out an update to event volunteers on the number of shows worked.  Generally, this information will be sent out the week of the 15th of the month.  It is recommended that volunteers keep their own record in case there is a discrepancy. 

Musical Scores –  A huge thank you to all those who volunteered for Musical Scores.  There were over 100 Partners and Hewitt volunteers in action handing out t-shirts, packing lunches and leading the students to and from the buses.  It was a great day at The Pavilion for students and volunteers alike.  Special thanks to Vicki Huebler, Douglas Harris and Melissa Barksdale for organizing the volunteers.
