Partners Party Honoring New Members – A warm welcome was extended to our new members at the Third Annual New Member Welcome Party held on June 4th in The Woodforest Bank Club. The dinner, music, games and prizes were awesome! Many thanks go to Debra Dozier, Social Committee Chairman, and her committee for planning a successful evening for Partners and their guests.
Digital Camera Needed – Partners is seeking the donation of a new or “nearly new” digital camera for use at its events. We would prefer a Sony, Nikkon or Canon. If you have one to donate, please contact Keith Ferry at [email protected]
Swing for the Arts Golf Tournament - A big thanks to all the underwriters, hole and team sponsors, in-kind donors and players who supported the 6th Annual Swing for the Arts Golf Tournament. Over $20,000 was raised which makes it possible for thousands of children to benefit from The Pavilion’s educational outreach programs through the live performing arts. A special thanks to Nancy Watts and her co-chairman, Keith Ferry, the golf committee, the staff and especially the Partners volunteers who contributed in making this event a success.

These young artists will perform music from Wagner, Bartok and Berlioz and there will be a viola performance by Rita Porfiris. The finalists and winner of the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Young Artist Competition will be announced. Encourage family and friends to bring a picnic and enjoy a fine evening of entertainment.
Fine Arts Education Day – A big thank you goes to Partners volunteers and Hewitt Associates who worked for Fine Arts Education Day on May 20th. We hope you all had as much fun as the students did enjoying a morning with the Houston Symphony. A special thank you goes to Bunny Benditz and Douglas Harris for organizing the volunteers.
Partners Fine Arts Scholarships – On May 3rd, twenty local students were recognized as recipients of The Pavilion Partners Fine Arts Scholarships.
