News for June 2015
It is hard to believe that the year is halfway over. It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating and counting down to ring in the New Year. Already, this season we have many new Partners that have hit the ground running and are eager to volunteer at all the events. As usual, we have great renewed support from returning Partners. Volunteers are what make this organization great.
There are still many events that we need volunteers to help manage. For example, coming soon is the annual event Star Spangled Salute with the Houston Symphony July 3 that has a very large attendance each year with many more events to follow. Please keep up the good work!
I would also like to announce The Pavilion Partners Annual Pre-Concert Fundraiser & Auction this year will be held before the September 26 Hall & Oates concert. This is a fun event where we raise money for the educational events The Pavilion puts on throughout the year, so mark it on your calendar. Thank you for all of your hard work, and I will see you out there.

Disney Makes The Pavilion the Happiest Place on Earth - The Houston Symphony’s presentation of Disney In Concert: A Tale As Old As Time drew a record breaking audience of 15,218 guests for The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on June 12, 2015. To read more, click here.
2015 Pre-Concert Fundraiser & Auction will be held prior to the Darryl Hall & John Oates concert September 26. Tickets are $225.00 per person and include dinner, orchestra seating at the concert and VIP club pass. The event will be held in the House of Blues Hospitality Tent at The Pavilion. Funds raised will benefit The Pavilion’s performing arts and educational outreach programs. Guests may RSVP online by visiting www.woodlandscenter.org. Tickets are limited so make plans to attend!

We had so much success at last year’s fundraiser with the bottle pull game, we are hoping to have a repeat. If you would like to help with a donation of a full size bottle of wine or liquor, please drop off at The Pavilion’s administrative offices attention to Leslie Williams. We need liquors in all price ranges to make the game interesting and fun. A donation form will be available at the front desk for you to fill out in order to be recognized and keep a copy for your tax records. Thanks in advance for your contribution!
