News for March 2015
The Pavilion season kicked off last week with the KSBJ Anniversary Concert. It is going to be an incredible 2015! There are many contemporary shows already booked and on sale, the performing arts schedule is phenomenal and there are two new educational outreach events added for this year. You can expect lots of volunteer opportunities, so please renew your Partners membership ASAP. We need your help in bringing the arts to the community! Membership dues can be paid online or mailed and go toward arts and educational outreach.
Partners badge pick up day is scheduled for April 9 from 3-6 p.m. in The Pavilion administration building. Please remember to bring your old badge if you were issued one previously or $5 if you have lost or misplaced your badge.
If you have never been issued a badge, we will be taking photos. Please come as close to 3 p.m. as possible if you have never been issued a badge. We will also be issuing shirts to new Partners.
It is understood that some of you may not be able to make this date. There will be other opportunities announced. However if you never received a badge, it is important you attend this badge pick up. We will be retaking photos for those who NEVER RECEIVED AN ACTUAL BADGE. This also will be shirt pick up day if you never received a shirt. Thanks for all you do to bring the arts to the community!

Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival – April 10-12, 2015 Save the Date! POSITIONS STILL OPEN. As a charity partner, The Pavilion is required to enlist volunteers in order to qualify for a donation from a portion of the festival proceeds. When you sign up on their website to volunteer, select The Pavilion as the “charity partner” in order to receive credit as a Partner. It takes over 600 volunteers to make the Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival happen. As a charity partner, The Pavilion Partners qualifies for a donation from the Festival proceeds based on the number of volunteer hours we provide. Partners as well as their friends, family and coworkers are invited to volunteer by registering at www.woodlandsartsfestival.com and selecting The Pavilion as their “charity” partner. All volunteers must be 18 years of age. Last year Partners donated over one thousand hours! Another benefit of volunteering at the Festival is that you will receive free admission into the Festival on the day of your volunteer assignment with the opportunity to browse and shop before and/or after your assigned working shift. You will also receive a commemorative volunteer Festival T-shirt.
