Congratulations to Partners Board of Directors – Partners welcomes Kathryn Painter and Stephanie Teed, our newly elected Board members for 2014-16. Congratulations go to Partners continuing Board members and to the officers for 2014: John Robichau – President, Sarah Epley –Vice-President, Dickie Jones – Treasurer and Janene Hemmen – Secretary.
Partners March Social Wednesday, March 19 – Please join the Pavilion Partners at the Hyatt Market Street for Tunes on the Terrace with local music favorite, Ramon, on Wed., March 19 at 6 pm. You will find us sitting on the 2nd floor terrace enjoying the beautiful spring weather, listening to music with a bite to eat and a drink in hand. Why don’t you bring a friend and join us in the fun?

Renew Your Membership Today - Your continued support is appreciated and we hope you will join Partners again this season. Please remember that membership dues need to be received and processed before you may sign up for events and be issued your badge. Recruiting Incentive – The Partners Board would like to encourage you to expand our membership this season. Therefore, Partners will be awarded one opportunity to win dinner for two for each new member who joins Partners as a performing arts or event volunteer qualifying for a 2014 season badge. The drawing will be at the New Member Party in June. In addition, Partners will receive one event credit for recruiting one or more qualified volunteers (Limit: 1 credit). Let’s see if we can bring in 100 new volunteers!
New Members Performing Arts Training Monday, April 14 - There are two informational meetings for new Partners interested in being a Performing Arts Volunteer. Volunteers may choose to attend at 1 or 6 p.m. Each session lasts approximately an hour and a half. This is a great way to find out more about our volunteer program. A mini-tour of The Pavilion will be included. If you plan to attend or would like more information, please contact Leslie Williams at 281-210-1125 or email@example.com. If you are just exploring Partners you are welcome also.
Badge Pick up day to be announced soon for new and returning partners. New Partners will also receive their shirts. You may sign up for events prior to receiving your badge if you have received your password and badge number. If you are new, you must attend a training to receive a badge.
16th Annual Wine Dinner & Auction honoring Shelli Moran April 6 – The Pavilion Partners will host its 16th Annual Wine Dinner & Auction on the main stage of The Pavilion on April 6 at 5 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception followed by a seated dinner provided by Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse which includes premier wines. The cost to attend the event is $200 per person. Exciting auction items include a fabulous Italian getaway to Serravalle for 14 friends and/or family, a gourmet dinner for ten prepared by two of the finest chefs in Houston, diamond earrings and a diamond bracelet. Proceeds from the Wine Dinner benefit the Partners Fine Arts Scholarship Fund and The Pavilion’s educational outreach programs. Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival April 12 & 13– It takes more than 600 volunteers to make the Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival happen. As a charity partner, The Pavilion Partners qualifies for a donation from the Festival proceeds based on the number of volunteer hours we provide. Partners as well as their friends, family and coworkers are invited to volunteer by registering at http://www.woodlandsartsfestival.com/ and selecting The Pavilion as their “charity” partner. All volunteers must be 18 years of age.
Last year Partners donated over 950 hours!!
Another benefit of volunteering at the Festival is that you will receive free admission into the Festival on the day of your volunteer assignment with the opportunity to browse and shop before and/or after your assigned working shift. You will also receive a commemorative volunteer Festival T-shirt.
2014 Woman of Distinction Luncheon - Each year, the Montgomery County Women’s Council of Organizations (MCWCO) comes together for the Women of Distinction Luncheon to celebrate all the many accomplishments provided by volunteers to local charitable organizations performed during the year. This year’s Pavilion Partner’s Woman of Distinction award goes to Sarah Epley.
Sarah has been involved with Partners for many years. She has served two terms on Partners Board of Directors and served as Treasurer. Sarah is well known by Partners as the chairman of the social committee, who warmly welcomes new and returning members.
Please join us in honoring Sarah by attending the 2014 Women of Distinction luncheon on May 23 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott. Tickets are $50, contact Leslie Williams if you are interested in attending.
