The Pavilion Partners, the official volunteer organization of The Pavilion, have an Instrument Petting Zoo located in the North Plaza before Performing Arts events at The Pavilion. Guests are able to see, hold, and play numerous musical instruments. It’s a great chance for children to experience new instruments and learn more about the sounds they will be hearing at the performance that night. |

The Pavilion Partners also offers a variety of arts and crafts activities before Performing Arts events throughout the season. Some past activities include hat-making, face painting, and various other crafts themed off of the event. Guests are invited to join in on the fun in the North Plaza before taking their seats and enjoying the performance of the evening. All activities are free and open to the public. |

Children’s Festival is designed to educate and entertain elementary and intermediate school students through a fascinating lineup of storytelling, music, dance and audience participation.
It showcases award-winning performers with a diverse assortment of performances, including puppetry, music, dance, theater, and the beauty of sign language and humor.
While acts entertain, they also incorporate important educational lessons into their material. Teachers’ curriculum guides are available from all artists to help integrate performance content with language arts, social studies, history, arts and music curricula. The Festival is a four-day event. The weekdays are strictly devoted to school field trips, while the weekend is open to the public. | |
