What it's all about?
Showcasing professional children's entertainers from the all over the United States, Children's Festival is an exciting way to help young children, ranging from pre-K to intermediate school, broaden their horizons, tap into their talents, ignite their creativity, appreciate other cultures, and develop a love and appreciation for the performing arts. Pepsi Main Stage performances at the 13th Annual Children's Festival include Barney in three different sing-alongs daily , award-winning musician Justin Roberts & the Not Ready for Naptime Players , the high-energy music and dance of Jean Paul Samputu & the Ingeli Troupe of Rwanda , the whacky antics of Professor Smart and Ms. Know-it-all in the Let's Go Science Show , and an exhibition by the talented Collective Sound Cloggers . Each artist strives to broaden children's exposure to the arts while entertaining and incorporating important educational messages into their performances. This non-traditional learning environment stimulates children's minds while providing an atmosphere that encourages their involvement in many different activities.
